Security Driver - Truck Yard

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Rover Security Officer (Surveillance Security Guard). Your sharp eye and attention to detail will be essential as you monitor screens and capture every detail. As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will spot threats before they escalate in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, and similar settings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 21 years of age
• State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and completion of 32‑hour BSIS security training (additional training can be obtained during hiring)
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $20 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Schedule

Site Location: South Gate, CA • 40 hours per week • 1st Shift: Wednesday - Sunday, 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
