About the role
We are looking for an experienced Security Manager to oversee the cybersecurity strategies and application security initiatives of our organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring the protection of enterprise systems and sensitive information, while driving the implementation of cutting-edge security solutions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in identity management platforms and a proactive approach to mitigating security risks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to safeguard enterprise systems and data.
- Manage and enhance application security processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Oversee identity and access management systems, including Okta, Ping Identity, and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into organizational workflows.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and prevention of future occurrences.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and technologies to continuously improve security protocols.
- Provide training and guidance to teams on best practices for cybersecurity and data protection.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on security performance and initiatives for stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives to ensure the organization meets regulatory and compliance requirements related to security.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cybersecurity management, application security, and enterprise security.
- Strong knowledge of identity and access management platforms, including Okta, Ping Identity, and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Familiarity with conducting security audits and implementing remediation strategies.
- Ability to analyze and address complex security challenges in a proactive manner.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teams and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to cybersecurity.
- Demonstrated ability to stay informed about the latest security trends and technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field preferred.
