Security Coordinator II - Security Operations
About the Team
The Relativity Space Protective Operations team is charged with protecting the company’s personnel, property, and operations. Our team performs and supports a multitude of security-centric tasks both in traditional and ‘non-standard’ realms given the unique mission of our company. We leverage relationships with internal and external partners to establish and maintain the most effective protective posture to help ensure the future success of Relativity Space.
About the Role
- 2+ years of experience in a law enforcement, military, security, or customer service role
- Must be knowledgeable and cross-trained in all duties associated with site-specific reception/lobby
- Maintain the appearance of the lobby, ensuring it is always organized and clean; summon janitorial or maintenance staff when needed
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and organizational skills in managing calendars, emails, inventory, and equipment
- Experienced in utilizing visitor management systems to process visitors, contractors, and employees; issue new, replacement, or temporary access cards per established site procedures; issue parking permits
- Ability to interact and verbally communicate effectively with internal and external customers and all levels of personnel in a professional, courteous, and effective manner with excellent customer service skills
- Maintain confidentiality, discretion, and appropriate professionalism
- Assist in maintaining ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance by ensuring adherence to Relativity Space company policies and procedures; work closely with the legal team
- Work closely with the Human Resources department to ensure proper execution of employee offboarding and account deactivations, including revoking access to company facilities and collecting company property
- Monitor CCTV, access-control systems, assist with video reviews, and other physical security systems
Requirements
- Experience within customer service and working with Executives
- Experience using visitor management systems
- Ability to multi-task, change direction quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while working with minimum supervision
- Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and resourceful problem-solving skills
Nice to Haves
- Experience within aerospace, defense, manufacturing, testing, launch operations, critical infrastructure, or another high-risk environment
- Familiarity with ITAR, CUI, export controls, and restricted-access requirements
- Willingness to pursue more advanced security training and certifications that are both physical and administrative in nature
Successful candidates must clear a background check administered by the US government to obtain clearance for on-site work at our government partner location in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
Pay
Hiring range: $23.38—$35.06 USD per hour.
