Security / ATO Lead

Kearney & Company is seeking a Security / ATO Lead to support a major Department of the Navy financial management transformation. The role will work within a cross‑functional Kearney‑led team implementing an enterprise OneStream‑based budget formulation capability across multiple Navy Budget Submitting Offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead contractor activities supporting the DON authorization/ATO process
• Integrate security requirements into solution architecture and implementation planning
• Coordinate security documentation and evidence
• Support applicable NIST SP 800‑53, DoD, Zero Trust, IL5, Section 508, cATO, and DevSecOps requirements
• Maintain security dependencies and milestones within the IMS
• Coordinate with government security/authorization stakeholders
• Identify security risks and remediation requirements
• Support security testing and deployment‑readiness activities
• Advise the program on the future IL6/multi‑domain roadmap

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 8 years of cybersecurity/security engineering experience
• Demonstrated DoD RMF/ATO experience
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800‑53 and DoD cybersecurity requirements
• Experience supporting cloud/SaaS authorization
• Ability to be onsite 2‑3 days a week in Alexandria, VA and Washington, DC
• Active Secret Clearance (or higher) and U.S. citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

• Navy ATO/RMF experience
• IL5 cloud implementation experience
• cATO/DevSecOps experience
• CISSP, CISM, CAP/CGRC, Security+, or comparable certification

Pay

The expected salary range for this position is between $103,000 and $180,000. This range represents base pay only and does not include overtime, company contributions toward paid benefits, or bonuses. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other lawful factors. The position is eligible for bonuses when applicable.
