Security Associate

About the role

Join the Hilton Milwaukee, a newly renovated $40 million premier hotel in downtown Milwaukee, and help create a safe and comfortable environment for guests and associates. As a part‑time Security Associate you will patrol the premises, monitor security systems, respond to emergencies, and provide courteous assistance to guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises on foot to maintain safety for guests and associates while protecting property and assets.
• Operate the dispatch center, handling key control, fire‑alarm monitoring, CCTV monitoring, routine and emergency calls, and dispatching service requests.
• Perform proactive security, safety, and loss‑prevention practices.
• Investigate situations and conditions, and write reports as necessary.
• Meet, greet, and assist guests and associates in a professional and calm manner.
• Witness cash drops, monitor cameras, and perform lost‑and‑found functions.
• Transport guests in company vehicles to and from airports, local offices, and entertainment venues.
• Assist in other areas as needed.

Requirements

• Knowledge of security and law‑enforcement practices preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Prior hospitality, guest‑service, and/or security experience preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with department management, staff, personnel, and the public.
• Dependable, reliable, and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

$18.50 per hour (part‑time, hourly).

Schedule

Part‑time, morning shift with availability for weekends and holidays. Flexible schedule that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
