Security Assistant Shift Manager

Responsibilities
- Direct security staff in the performance of their daily duties and responsibilities.
- Maintain a safe environment for guests and employees.
- Provide guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department.
- Support and administer operational goals and monitor achievements of performance and profit objectives.
- Adhere to scheduling and coordinate with the manager any scheduling concerns, prioritizing guest satisfaction.
- Enforce internal control policies and procedures.
- Enforce underage gambling and drinking laws.
- Maintain safety and inspection reports for the property.
- Prepare security incident reports and maintain security logs.
- Report guest and team member concerns and complaints to the manager.
- Ensure security team members adhere to uniform dress and grooming standards consistent with department and company standards.
- Interact and cooperate with regulatory, fire/rescue, and law enforcement agencies.
- Support compliance to departmental budgets.
- Support superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
- Ensure customer service standards are followed by all team members and address issues as they arise.
- Support compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and report potential issues to management.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- One to two years of casino Security, military, or police experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Qualifications

- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Skills
- Microsoft applications proficiency.
