Security Architecture Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders including NATO Headquarters bodies such as the Information and Communications Technology Office and NATO Office of Security (NOS).
  • Attend the NATO Security Accreditation Board (NSAB) meetings as required.
  • Manage security aspects of CIS programs (including projects), developing and implementing business processes to meet identified business needs.
  • Acquire and utilize necessary resources and skills within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality.
  • Define, document, and carry out security aspects within programs and projects (typically greater than six months with strategic impact).
  • Participate actively in all phases of the program, identifying, assessing, and managing risks to the success of the program from the security perspective.
  • Prepare security inputs to plans (including input to budget, quality, risk, and communications plans).
  • Track and manage specific security projects against the schedule and stakeholder involvement as appropriate.
  • Maintain oversight of project costs, timescales, and resources, taking corrective actions where necessary.
  • Ensure formal closure of own projects within a program and address lessons learned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of function-related experience OR a Higher Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation with 4+ years of post-related experience.
  • Demonstrable practical experience in programs on security design and/or implementation of CIS/ICT, typically involving business change through an architectural approach within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality.
  • The Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) awarded Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) qualification or equivalent recognized qualifications acceptable to NATO, including national military equivalents.
  • Demonstrable security domain knowledge of information technology solutions and change management as part of a wider Digital Transformation endeavor.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong team-working abilities, both as a contributor and a leader.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in English as defined in STANAG 6001 or equivalent.
  • Active National and/or NATO Secret (or above) security clearance.
  • Able to work fully onsite based on client needs.
