Security and Emergency Services Supervisor
Location: Emerson Lakes by Erickson Senior Living, a 46-acre continuing care retirement community in Lakewood Ranch, near Bradenton and Sarasota, FL.

We’re excited to share a leadership opportunity for a Security and Emergency Services Supervisor—a dynamic, driven professional who will play a critical role in the grand opening of Emerson Lakes, one of Erickson Senior Living’s most anticipated new communities. Emerson Lakes will be a premier, state-of-the-art continuing care retirement community designed to serve more than 1,500 residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care. This gated community will feature an impressive array of amenities, including multiple restaurants, a stunning outdoor swimming pool, a cutting-edge fitness center, an onsite medical center, and much more. Responsibilities
- Responsible for the security of the community through the use of gatehouse, patrols, access control, visitor/contractor registration, key management, and other programs.
- Monitor safety programs to include: Security Department safety inspections, responses to workplace accidents, hazard communication programs, respiratory mask fit testing programs, and others as needed.
- Partner with SES Manager to update and maintain the Emergency Preparedness Plans.
- Ensure completion of Incident Reports, daily shift reports, and respond to calls for service.
- Assist in hiring, training, coaching, and counseling of employees.
- Establish schedules, review and approve timesheets, complete performance evaluations.
- Provide daily leadership, supervision, motivation, and communication to direct and indirect reports.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in public safety supervisory (Fire/EMS/Law Enforcement) or comparable supervisory experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an Emergency Responder role.
- Current valid driver’s license.
The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) requires all new hires to successfully complete and pass an extensive Level 2 background screening, which covers U.S. Federal, State, and City checks (submitting fingerprints), prior to the start of employment. More information.

Pay
Starting at $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
12-hour shifts: days 7a–7p, overnight 7p–7a.
