Security Analyst

About the role

Turnberry Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled Security Analyst to join our team in Audubon, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with experience in threat detection, incident response, and security operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
• Implement and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Respond to security incidents and breaches, coordinating with internal teams and external partners as necessary.
• Monitor network traffic and system logs for suspicious activity and alert appropriate personnel.
• Stay current with emerging threats and technologies, and incorporate this knowledge into ongoing security practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, including threat hunting, incident response, and security operations.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data and draw actionable insights.
• Experience with SIEM tools, intrusion detection systems, and security information management platforms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of relevant security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and CIS benchmarks.

Qualifications

• CISSP certification preferred.
• Experience with cloud security, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other common productivity tools.
