About the Opportunity:The SECURITY ANALYST role is responsible for managing daily security monitoring, identity governance, and compliance activities. This position plays a vital role in identifying, investigating, and resolving security events, enforcing access controls, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and client standards. Serving as the initial contact for routine security issues, the role contributes directly to maintaining the organization’s security posture. Responsibilities:Monitor, triage, and investigate security events from various sources.Contain and remediate security incidents according to procedures.Perform identity containment actions such as account lockout and session revocation.Respond to phishing and suspicious activity reports.Coordinate vulnerability management efforts including prioritization and tracking.Document incidents and prepare management summaries.Conduct periodic access reviews and report exceptions.Review privileged access and credential requests, escalating exceptions.Draft, revise, and maintain security policies and procedures.Prepare client-ready documentation and support management presentations.Assist in risk assessments and audits by gathering evidence and documenting observations.Respond to client security questionnaires and due diligence requests.Administer the security awareness program and track completion.Support client discussions as directed.Manage security workflows through a ticketing system.Develop and maintain runbooks and knowledge base content.Identify recurring security issues and recommend process improvements. Requirements:3 to 5 years of experience in information security or related security operations.Experience investigating security events across endpoints, email, or identity systems.Knowledge of identity and access management concepts including multi-factor authentication and least privilege.Familiarity with HIPAA Security Rule and frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or PCI DSS.Ability to produce clear policies, procedures, and technical documentation.Strong written and verbal communication skills including client-facing summaries.Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.
