Job Summary
Administer and manage security tools including CrowdStrike, Tenable, and Zscaler. Perform IT security risk assessments; develop, recommend, and implement remediation strategies. Conduct research on vendor offerings and execute proof of concepts for new security technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and resolve security issues.
Responsibilities
- Administer and manage security tools including CrowdStrike, Tenable, and Zscaler
- Perform IT security risk assessments; develop, recommend, and implement remediation strategies
- Conduct research on vendor offerings and execute proof of concepts for new security technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and resolve security issues
- Monitor and maintain asset inventory, including the status of installed agents and devices
- Review vulnerability dashboards; assess the impact of evolving threat landscapes
- Track data inventories and policy violations; generate security-related reports and metrics
- Develop and author IT security and compliance policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines
- Monitor and process security incident response queues
- Manage and adjust endpoint firewall operations as necessary
- Work independently and as part of a team to support the agency's IT Security Program
- Utilize strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Requirements
- 5+ years of IT security experience
- 5+ years of CrowdStrike administration
- 5+ years of Tenable administration
Qualifications
- Desired: CISSP or equivalent certification
