About the Role

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in Syracuse, NY. This full-time role involves monitoring security systems, detecting suspicious activity, and ensuring the safety of individuals and property. The schedule is Tuesday to Friday, 6am - 2pm, with a competitive hourly wage of $19.73. DailyPay is available, and a comprehensive benefits package is included.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience preferred
• State license required (if applicable)
