Responsibilities
- Conducts security assessments and provides security consulting and training to organizations.
- Draft security briefings and prepare personnel security documentation for review.
- Maintain clearance databases and assist in the preparation of security artifacts for senior review.
- Serves the personnel security needs for the theaterwide mission.
- Prepare routine clearance Status Reports and assist in the in-processing of staff for logistics operations.
- Coincide with Mission Partners to ensure all personnel meet the specific access requirements for sensitive operational sites.
- Take direction, guidance, and mentoring from more senior staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
- Demonstrated ability to draft personnel security documentation and follow established standard operating procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant discipline or a related field.
- Foundational security training (e.g., PS101) and proficiency with the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
Qualifications
- Must hold an active Secret Clearance.
Physical Requirements
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
