Security Accreditation Lead

For our client, we are seeking a Security Accreditation Lead to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space. This role will lead security accreditation efforts within a high-security defense-related program environment, ensuring requirements are translated into actionable engineering tasks and delivered with consistency and quality. The position will partner closely with accreditation stakeholders, Scrum leadership, and technical teams to keep work aligned to schedule and compliance expectations. It will also support modernization initiatives that operate within international security frameworks and require strong coordination across program participants. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $107,900 – $195,050 annually Responsibilities Lead security accreditation activities for the program Act as the primary liaison with the accreditation authority for planning and coordination Translate accreditation requirements into engineering tasks Manage accreditation work using Jira during sprints Collaborate with the Scrum Master and other leads during planning phases Ensure quality and consistency of accreditation inputs Monitor and report on accreditation progress against schedule Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field with significant experience Active NATO Secret clearance or higher Proven track record in security accreditation and cybersecurity compliance Experience developing Security Accreditation Documentation Sets (SADS) Strong understanding of secure systems engineering principles Hands-on experience with Jira in Agile environments Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Benefits Onsite onboarding in The Hague for 3 months Regular travel for program-related activities Opportunity to collaborate in a high-security environment Work within NATO and NCIA frameworks fostering international cooperation Engage in innovative IT modernization efforts within the defense sector Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
