Responsibilities

  • Identifies policy and applies specialty knowledge in monitoring and assessing processes and data.
  • Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices.
  • Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards.
  • Exchanges information in a concise and logical way, sensitive to audience diversity.
  • Provides analytic support to traders and supports review of derivative products.
  • Serves as a point of contact for the front office and Issuers, ensuring proper documentation for new issue setups and MTN issues.
  • Processes original issuances for Long Term Debt, MTNs, Structured Finance, etc., and handles routine and non-routine items.
  • Handles buy-backs, exchanges, conversions, and performs 144A / Reg S Conversions / Exchanges / Warrants, ATOP.
  • Responds to customer service inquiries, stops and replaces / voids checks, and escalates issues as needed.
  • Delivers reports to meet management requirements, support control activities, and launch products/services.
  • Assists in implementing process improvements and minimizes risk to the bank through increased knowledge of procedural requirements.
  • Manages and escalates all requests, inquiries, and issues, especially post-settlement matters, timely and effectively.
  • Displays intermediate-level understanding of products and processes, integrates with others in the team, and demonstrates excellent knowledge of bank-related systems.
  • Uses strong communication, interpersonal, and diplomatic skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders, handling potentially complex and sensitive information.
  • Demonstrates an excellent understanding of applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adheres to policies, and drives compliance with audit and control policies.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience working in Operations.
  • Good understanding of Debt-related products.
  • Ability to work in a structured, high-volume, time-sensitive, high-risk, and demanding environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and positive attitude.
