Section Head, Breast Imaging

University of Rochester Medicine is seeking a Section Head of Breast Imaging to lead a growing team of seven breast radiologists within our nationally recognized Department of Imaging Sciences and the NCI-Designated Wilmot Cancer Center.

About the Role

• Lead a well-established breast imaging section with advanced technologies such as Breast MRI and novel ultrasound tomography.
• Dedicated one day per week of protected academic time, plus an additional leadership day every two weeks.
• Professional mentorship under Dr. Jennifer Harvey and a leadership incentive of up to $30,000.
• Join a department of approximately 145 radiologists performing nearly 1.3 million imaging studies annually.
• Opportunities for clinical, translational, and collaborative research, with multiple academic promotion pathways.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent
• ABR Certified/Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
• Fellowship Trained or Equivalent Experience in Breast Imaging
• NYS Licensed or License Eligible
