Section Chief, Multifamily Finance Super NOFA
Job Description and Duties
The incumbent oversees and directs first level supervisors who administer the Multifamily Finance Super NOFA (MFSN) workload for a variety of housing and community development programs within the priority policy area of multifamily finance. The incumbent works collaboratively with another MFSN Section Chief to jointly administer the Branches’ programs and workload. The incumbent consults, apprises, and advises the Branch Chief as directed.
The MFSN Unit is primarily responsible for the design and implementation of state-funded affordable housing programs including the development of program guidelines detailing the use and requirements of state funding programs, issuance of Notices of Funding Availability, application review and funding recommendations.

- Ability to effectively work and communicate with Branch Management and staff.
- Ability to work with other governmental agencies.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations and policies as it relates to housing.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of staff and management to achieve outcomes.
- Experience developing and implementing employee engagement and recognition strategies and initiatives.
- Experience, education, or training in the use of Excel, PowerBI, and other data software.
- Experience developing, identifying, recommending, and/or leading organizational and/or process/system improvements.
- Experience researching and analyzing policy and data and presenting ideas and information effectively both orally, in writing or visually/graphically.
- Project management experience in a collaborative environment, monitoring resources and schedules to ensure timely completion and delivery of work products.
