Section 28 Behavioral Health Professional (BHP)
About the role
If you're looking for a rewarding position, you will make a significant difference in the lives of the children and young adults we support by working directly with them in home and community settings. Experience is welcome but not required. If you do not have your BHP certification, the training will be provided at no cost. If you are energetic, enjoy working with children and are looking to make a difference, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Teach daily living skills to children and young adults with a variety of behavioral and social needs.
- Work closely with supervisors to learn techniques to help the client meet their goals.
- Work with the families to help them use those techniques.
Requirements
- GED, High School Diploma, Associates Degree.
- Clean driving records and valid driver’s license (minimum of 3 years).
- Motor vehicle insurance & registration.
- Reliable transportation.
Skills
Section 28 BHP is a skill building program for children to help children improve social skills, increase independence with daily life skills and to safely regulate behavior.

Pay
Starting at $19.00 per hour for Certified BHP's (negotiable with experience) $18.50 not certified - will train
