About the role

The Schwartz Early Childhood School at the Stroum Jewish Community Center (SJCC) on Mercer Island is seeking enthusiastic educators to join its dynamic team. The school is inspired by Reggio Emilia, Italy, and a social constructivist perspective, fostering a secure and nurturing environment for young children.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and engaging learning environment for children aged 3-5 years old.
• Implement a Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement educational programs.
• Support children's emotional and social development through responsive interactions.
• Participate in regular planning sessions and reflective supervision meetings.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices.

Pay

Salary Range: $23/hour to $26/hour
