Secretary/Technician - Full Time, Nights 7pm-7am, CCU, Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center
About the Role
This position involves supporting the daily operations of a medical unit by:
- Answering telephones and patient call bells
- Organizing medical records and maintaining unit supplies
- Greeting visitors and physicians
- Assisting physicians and staff with electronic order entry
- Supporting nursing personnel in direct patient care activities, including:
- Assisting patients with activities of daily living
- Measuring and recording vital signs
- Helping to assure a safe patient care environment
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- BLS certification (preferred)
- CNA certification (preferred)
- Prior Unit Associate and Nursing Assistant experience in a hospital or medical setting (strongly preferred)
