Secondary Food Service Manager.

Requirements

Education, Training, and Experience

• High school graduation or equivalent (GED, foreign equivalency, etc.).
• Option 1: Two (2) years of institutional, commercial, and/or school district food service experience preparing and/or serving food.
• Option 2: A minimum of 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university in a related field (e.g., hotel and restaurant management, nutrition, dietetics, institutional management) and one (1) year of institutional, commercial, and/or school district food service experience preparing and/or serving food.

Licenses and Certifications

• Applicant/employee must provide their own transportation.
• Certification provided by CCSD Food Service Department verifying successful completion of required Secondary Food Service Manager training within the first year of employment.
• Current SNHD Food Handler Safety Training Card (must be maintained for the duration of the assignment).
• Current Food Protection Manager Certification (e.g., ServSafe) (must be maintained for the duration of the assignment).
