About the role
We are Rebo, a company providing interior and exterior automotive and electronics lighting solutions. Our focus includes developing new technologies for electric vehicles, such as charge status indicators and innovative lighting designs.
Responsibilities
- Operate all types of traditional machine shop equipment to repair, maintain, and fabricate tooling, fixtures, and samples in support of manufacturing operations with a heavy emphasis on plastic injection molds.
- Maintain a safe working attitude, follow safety rules, and promote a safe culture throughout the facility.
- Work with little or no supervision.
- Read and interpret blueprint drawings.
- Fabricate parts with a high level of accuracy while holding tight tolerances.
- Perform tool repairs and preventative maintenance at regular intervals.
- Support design and fabrication of jigs and fixtures in support of manufacturing operations.
- Assemble and debug tools and fixtures for production area.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
- Five (5) years of experience in a Machine Shop environment.
- Formal education or training in a related technical field.
- Experience in plastic injection molding, mold maintenance/repair, and related manufacturing processes.
- Able to safely set-up and operate conventional vertical milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, vertical EDM and other shop related equipment.
Qualifications
- You have a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
- You have five (5) years of experience in a Machine Shop environment.
- You have formal education or training in a related technical field.
- You have experience in plastic injection molding, mold maintenance/repair, and related manufacturing processes.
- You are able to safely set-up and operate conventional vertical milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, vertical EDM and other shop related equipment.
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings.
- High level of accuracy in part fabrication.
- Knowledge of plastic injection molding processes.
- Experience with various machine shop equipment.
