Second Shift Laundry Aide

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, sort, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens.
• Properly identify and return clothing to the correct residents.
• Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and safe.
• Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment according to training.
• Report damaged or missing clothing and equipment concerns.
• Work cooperatively with nursing, housekeeping, and other departments.
• Treat residents, families, and coworkers with kindness, dignity, and respect.
• Help create a positive and welcoming environment for our residents.

Requirements

• Dependable and punctual.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to stand, bend, lift, push, and pull as required for the position.
• Comfortable working around older adults in a healthcare setting.
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are a must!

Pay

$15.50 per hour.
