Candidates should be committed to improving the efficiency of the Federal government, passionate about the ideals of our American republic, and committed to upholding the rule of law and the United States Constitution. A career with the U.S. government provides employees with a comprehensive benefits package. As a federal employee, you and your family will have access to a range of benefits that are designed to make your federal career very rewarding. Eligibility for benefits depends on the type of position you hold and whether your position is full-time, part-time or intermittent. Contact the hiring agency for more information on the specific benefits offered. We need to decide sections: Duties (Responsibilities), Requirements, Qualifications, maybe Additional Information (could be Benefits? but not exactly). Benefits: The posting mentions comprehensive benefits package but no specifics; we should not create Benefits section unless specific content. It says "A career with the U.S. government provides employees with a comprehensive benefits package... Eligibility for benefits depends on the type of position you hold and whether your position is full-time, part-time or intermittent. Contact the hiring agency for more information on the specific benefits offered." That's generic; we should not create Benefits section because no specific benefits listed. Pay: "Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement." That's specific enough? It mentions salary includes locality pay. That's a statement about pay. Could create Pay section with that sentence. Schedule: Not mentioned specific schedule; only notes about extensive overnight and weekend travel, mandatory overtime. That could be considered schedule info. But we need to decide if we create Schedule section. The posting includes "NOTE: Extensive overnight and weekend travel" and "NOTE: Mandatory overtime". That's schedule-related. Could include under Schedule. However guidelines: only create Schedule section if posting actually states them. It does state travel and overtime, which are schedule aspects. So we can include Schedule. We also have "Direct Deposit of Pay is required." That's pay-related. We have "Transportation subsidies are available for mass transit users." That's a benefit but maybe could go under Benefits? But it's specific. However guidelines: only create Benefits if posting actually states them. It does state transportation subsidies. That's a benefit. Also "comprehensive benefits package" is vague but we have specific transportation subsidies. Could create Benefits section with that line. But we need to avoid too many thin sections. Prefer few substantive sections. Could combine Benefits and Pay? But they are distinct headings. Could we put Pay and Benefits together? Probably better to have separate sections if content exists. We have also "Additional information" about location, commuting, etc. That could be under "About the role" or maybe a separate section like "Location". But headings allowed: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. No "Location". So we could put location info under About the role (makes sense). About the role could include location description. Thus sections: - Responsibilities (for duties) - Requirements (conditions of employment, certifications, etc.) - Qualifications (who may apply, experience, minimum quals, physical effort, working conditions, education) - Benefits (transportation subsidies, maybe mention comprehensive benefits package? but we can keep just transportation subsidies) - Pay (salary includes locality pay, direct deposit required) - Schedule (extensive overnight/weekend travel, mandatory overtime) We should not include Skills section unless there is specific skill list; not present. We need to use

for each section heading. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use

for prose. We need to preserve all substantive info; not invent or summarize away detail. Must not repeat job title. We need to remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. The posting didn't have obvious boilerplate except maybe the "This is a Transportation and Distribution Management Career Field (24) position." That's not boilerplate but maybe considered generic; but it's substantive? It's about career field. Could keep under Additional info? But we don't have a heading for that. Could incorporate into Qualifications or About the role. Might be okay to keep as a paragraph under Qualifications. We need to ensure we don't include "NOTE:" lines as separate headings; just incorporate into text. We need to output only HTML fragment. Let's craft. First, Responsibilities:

    • Supervises and works with shift crew including but not limited to: a 3RD Mate, a Master Tender, a Deck Equipment Operator, a Deckhand Leader, and Deckhands in various operational tasks.
    • Operates a derrick, Class I crane or overhead crane.
    • Supervises and performs general maintenance and repairs to the pipeline and other deck equipment.
    • Supervises and performs cleaning, chipping, painting, etc. in support operations and assignments.
    • Accesses the pilothouse computer to input new dredge cut lines and uses sounding equipment to ensure cuts are of the proper length and depth.
