SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting Senior Analyst

Responsibilities

• Aid in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports (Form 10-Q and 10-K)
• Ensure SEC compliance and stay updated on SEC comment letter trends and new disclosure requirements
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during the reporting process
• Manage quarterly and annual filing documents within Workiva, including XBRL and filing credentials, and maintain supporting documentation and records
• Conduct technical accounting research and draft technical accounting memos for new guidance or ad-hoc changes in the business
• Participate in various day-to-day accounting tasks, such as reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations
• Work with Treasury, Tax, Legal, and other teams regarding SEC disclosures
• Act as a key point of contact for other departments on any issues that arise
• Support SOX compliance in corporate accounting and external reporting functions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 4-6 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting
• CPA preferred
• Experience with SEC reporting (public accounting and/or industry)
• Ability to think strategically and improve processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
