For our client, a leader in the Enterprise Technology space, we are seeking a SEC Reporting Manager to own compensation, benefits, and rewards programs that help attract, retain, and motivate talent at scale. You will partner with people leaders, finance, and executive stakeholders to align rewards programs with business needs and employee experience. This role offers the opportunity to strengthen pay practices, improve program governance, and create more consistent outcomes across the organization within a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements per U.S. GAAP and SEC guidelines
- Lead reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and reconciliation with source records
- Support XBRL tagging and meet regulatory reporting obligations
- Collaborate with key departments for aligned reporting and issue resolution
- Review journal entries and reconciliations in complex areas like stock compensation
- Conduct technical research on complex transactions for U.S. GAAP compliance
- Act as the main contact for external auditors during the audit process
- Identify and implement improvements for reporting efficiency and scalability
Qualifications
- 7+ years of accounting experience, with 2+ years in a Big 4 audit firm
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Ability to research and resolve complex technical accounting issues
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills in fast-paced settings
- History of successful process improvement and system implementation
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders
Pay
$120,000 – $145,000 annually
