Seattle UC AM 0.7 Medical Assistant- Temporary
This is a temporary position. In an Urgent Care setting, perform individualized patient procedures, treatment and tests. Perform associated clerical tasks including chart preparation, stocking clinic supplies and answering telephones. Provide advanced assistance with medical clinic operations and monitoring of clinic flow.
About the role
- Primary work location is Seattle, but may be required to work at any Seattle Children’s Urgent Care locations depending on business need.
Responsibilities
- Perform individualized patient procedures, treatment and tests
- Perform associated clerical tasks including chart preparation, stocking clinic supplies and answering telephones
- Provide advanced assistance with medical clinic operations and monitoring of clinic flow
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Medical Assistant Certified by Washington State Department of Health (DOH) prior to start date
- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
Preferred
- Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program
- Medical Assistant or medical office experience
- Current Medical Assistant experience in Pediatrics, Urgent Care experience and/or Medical screening and immunization
- Current National Medical Assistant Association Certification
Benefits
- Compensation Range: $26.28 - $38.85 per hour
- Salary Information: Based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year)
