Seasonal Yard Operations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for customers, ensuring correct picking and timely delivery.
• Load and unload trucks using forklift and manual labor.
• Receive and check inbound freight, placing stock and customer orders in the correct locations.
• Label inbound stock and assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and yard.
• Aid in inventory control and complete assigned tasks.

• Works with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Understands measurements like square feet, lineal feet, and pounds.

Physical Demands

• Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting up to 90 pounds.

Work Environment

• May encounter temporary cracks in the floor/ground due to forklift traffic.
• The environment can be dusty, noisy, hot, and cold.
• Handling merchandise and working tools with sharp edges is part of the job.
• Forklifts emitting gas fumes are present in the workplace.

Work Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
• Overtime may be required but is not guaranteed.
• Perfect for college students or individuals looking for seasonal employment during colder months.
• Minimum wage of $20 per hour.
