Seasonal Water System Maintenance Worker

Overview

Under the direct supervision of the Water Director, the water system maintenance worker performs daily water maintenance responsibilities for the City of Bountiful.

Essential Job Functions

• Responsibilities include new water main line and service line installation.
• Aid with water main line and service leak repair.
• Requires lifting parts involved in a water system such as pipe, valves, and fittings.
• Pressure Regulating Valves maintenance.
• Aid in keeping job sites safe from hazards for crews and the public.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• This is an entry level position.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 100 pounds.
• General knowledge of hand tools.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid Utah Driver's License.
• Successfully pass a background check, a driving record check, and a pre-employment drug test.

Pay

Starting Salary $16.50

Schedule

Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
