Seasonal Warehouse Associate II

About the role

The Fulfillment Center (FC) Associate II plays a crucial role in Safelite's mission of bringing unexpected happiness to people's everyday lives by ensuring timely delivery of glass parts to technicians.

Responsibilities

• Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as forklifts, reach trucks, or order pickers to heights of up to 40 feet.
• Perform daily warehousing tasks including pallet breakdown and dunnage preparation.
• Use handheld RF scanners to receive, pick, ship, or locate inventory.
• Maintain a secure and clean work area through general housekeeping.
• Build steel pallets and prepare them for inventory replenishment.
• Assist with offloading tractor trailers by hand.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Weight limit of 300 pounds for operating order picker.
• Experience with MHE equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, or reach trucks.
• Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including seasonal heat or cold.
• Strength to move or raise objects weighing up to 35 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Positive attitude with a focus on exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.

• Ability to follow safety protocols.
• Good communication skills.

Pay

$23.65 per hour starting pay.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, with Saturday flexibility. Shifts available from 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM or 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM.
