Seasonal Warehouse Associate

Job Summary

Propper International is seeking a motivated seasonal warehouse associate to join our team at our Tennessee Distribution Center. This position involves assisting with the introduction and construction of garment totes into our automated picking system.

Responsibilities

• Picking out ordered items from storage shelves or rooms using barcodes, serial numbers, etc.
• Updating stock inventory after each item is retrieved
• Managing stock control, including item replenishment and storage
• Utilizing a vehicle-mounted computer and handheld scanner
• Performing general warehouse duties as necessary

Requirements

• Ability to use a radio frequency or barcode scanner
• In-depth knowledge of industry safety regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 50-60 lbs. and transfer them repetitively
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, climb stairs for a minimum of 8 hours
• Great team spirit
• Excellent attention to detail
• Great self-independence and motivation
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Qualifications

• Warehouse and/or manufacturing organization preferred
• Motorized order picker, cherry picker or forklift experience preferred
• High school diploma
