Seasonal Warehouse Associate
About the role
This is a seasonal warehouse position with a maximum employment period of six months. We offer three full-time shift options; part-time positions are not available. As a Merchandise Processor, you’ll handle gear from the time it enters our doors to the time it leaves, packing orders and loading packages into trailers. This is a physically active role that keeps you on your feet and moving throughout your shift.
Schedule
Shifts are not flexible; you must be able to work the entire shift. Three shift options are available:
- AM: Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, $16.00/hr
- PM: Mon–Fri, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, $15/hr + $1.85/hr shift differential = $17.85/hr
- WKN: Sat–Mon, 8:00 AM–8:30 PM, $15/hr + $2.00/hr shift differential = $18.00/hr
Occasionally, overtime may be required to support operational demands. Overtime scheduling varies by shift and is subject to change based on business needs.
Blackout period for time off requests: November 10th through December 23rd. The warehouse will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day, with shorter hours on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
Pay
$15–$18 an hour, depending on shift.
Responsibilities
- Stand and walk for your entire shift
- Read and audit labels
- Identify, count, and sort packages and inventory with a high level of accuracy
- Differentiate between shipping methods and sort packages accordingly
- Use automated packaging equipment
- Participate in team meetings, follow guidance, and provide feedback
- Maintain a clean workspace
- Resolve problems to ensure inventory and shipping accuracy
- Adjust inventory to resolve issues
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Participate in LEAN initiatives
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred
- Verbal and written comprehension of the English language
- Fundamental math skills
- Ability to apply established procedures and follow oral/written instructions
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision and organize/prioritize workload
- Computer skills, including familiarity with the internet and email
- Experience operating power industrial equipment (e.g., standing order picker or forklift) is a plus

- Frequently climb up and down stairs; rarely climb ladders
- Frequently bend/twist at waist, knees, and neck
- Frequently use both hands/arms to reach, push, pull, and lift:
- Constant: 10–30 lbs.
- Occasional: 30–60 lbs.
- Rarely: less than 10 lbs. or greater than 60 lbs.
- Crawling is typically not required
Work is performed indoors, and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
