Seasonal Warehouse Associate 1st shift

About the role

The Warehouse Associate at Sephora’s Mississippi Distribution Center is responsible for safely receiving, picking, packing, prepping, putting away, and shipping products according to established production rates and procedures. Associates are cross‑trained to work in various departments, follow safety and loss‑prevention policies, maintain attendance, work flexible shifts, and provide high‑quality internal and external customer service.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock product
• Pick, pack, prep and ship Sephora orders to retail stores and online customers
• Follow company, state and OSHA safety rules, policies and regulations
• Report safety violations and potential safety violations to supervisory or management personnel
• Comply with company Loss Prevention policies and procedures
• Maintain regular and acceptable attendance
• Maintain a flexible work schedule and work any designated shift and overtime as requested
• Pro‑actively respond to direction from the leadership team
• Provide high quality internal and external customer service per company standards

Requirements

• Familiarity with WMS picking procedures or previous experience using menu‑driven applications
• Familiarity of warehouse layout or ability to learn layout
• Ability to operate RF terminals to receive, pick and replenish product
• Ability to pack product using preferred methods
• Basic math skills and ability to match numbers
• Ability to be cross‑trained in receiving, pick, pack, put‑away and shipping processes
• Ability to understand other business functions as they apply to the position
• Ability to work closely and effectively with others to promote teamwork
• Possess a positive and enthusiastic demeanor
• Ability to stand, sit, squat, lift and/or walk for the duration of the scheduled shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay

Starting base pay is $18.00 per hour. Certain work schedules may be eligible for shift differential pay.

Schedule

Full‑time position with a flexible schedule; associates must be willing to work any designated shift and overtime as business needs require.
