Seasonal Technology Assistant

The School Association for Special Education in DuPage County is seeking candidates for an open position.

About the role

The successful candidate will provide educational support services to students with special needs within the DuPage County area. Responsibilities include developing individualized education plans, implementing teaching strategies, and collaborating with families and other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing individualized education plans for students with special needs
• Collaborating with families and other professionals to support student learning
• Implementing evidence-based teaching strategies
• Evaluating student progress and adjusting plans as necessary
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Illinois teaching certificate in Special Education
• Experience working with students with special needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and regulations
• Proficiency in using technology for lesson planning and data management
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
• Experience with data analysis and reporting

Pay

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
