About the role
At Love’s, our seasonal team members work in a fast-paced retail environment, maintaining clean and welcoming spaces while providing fast, friendly, and accurate service to customers. Duties vary based on business needs, requiring flexibility and teamwork. No prior experience is necessary—we provide training.
Responsibilities
- Provide general customer service, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions, offering additional sales opportunities, and adhering to all state and local laws.
- Ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology.
- Maintain cleanliness in your direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Cross-train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles as needed.
- Move and lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
