About the role
At Love’s, our seasonal team members work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places while providing fast, friendly, and accurate services for customers. Duties vary depending on business needs, requiring flexibility and teamwork. No experience is necessary—we provide training.
Responsibilities
- Provide general customer service, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
- Ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products using various methods and technology.
- Maintain cleanliness in your direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Cross-train in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles as needed.
- Move and lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
