Seasonal Task Associate

About the Role

The Seasonal Task Associate (STA) is responsible for delivering operational excellence in support of sales drivers, providing the foundation for an exceptional experience for all Ulta Beauty guests. This role focuses on keeping fixtures stocked, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks while supporting the Merchandise Manager (MM) and Operations Manager (OM) through performance metrics, guest interactions, and adherence to processes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s retail goals by ensuring tasks are executed as planned and products are available for purchase.
• Meet compliance and execution goals related to the task dashboard, including timely completion of operational processes such as shipment, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Foster an inclusive environment for teammates, peers, and guests.
• Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education, to drive professional development and sales performance.
• Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards, including adherence to the dress code.
• Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using Ulta Beauty’s technology and best practices.
• Maintain operational excellence by keeping assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensuring testers are available.
• Uphold outstanding store standards and cleanliness, including sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break area.
• Follow loss prevention best practices and provide exceptional guest service to protect company assets.
• Execute additional operational tasks as directed.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Proficiency with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale systems and Apple devices).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Schedule

• Flexible schedule, including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Working Conditions

• Continuous mobility throughout the store during shift.
• Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting.
• Continuous and/or frequent lifting, carrying, and/or moving up to 25 lbs.
• Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects.
