Seasonal Summer Painter

Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform interior painting in Residence Halls and other buildings on Campus.
• Perform exterior painting when necessary.
• Auxiliary in trades and handyman tasks as needed.
• Assist with office and furniture moves as needed.
• Other duties as assigned within the scope of work of the Facilities Department.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized and capable of handling multiple tasks.
• Valid NYS Driver's License required.
• Must work Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:00PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 80 pounds.
• Prolonged periods of physical labor.

Salary

$17.00 per hour.

Hours Expectation

40 hours per week
8:00AM to 4:00PMMonday through Friday.
Seasonal position: May-August/September
