PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Aid customers with product needs and answer their questions
- Cash out customers using the register system, stock the store, and load store customers
- Handle product orders, merchandise items, and create vendor orders directly for the store
- Load and unload bagged feeds and related products for customers in the warehouse
- Operate a hand truck and a fork truck safely and adhere to all safety rules
- Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and loading areas
- Assist in the nursery as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by Store Management
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Capable of lifting 55 lbs. to a height of 50 inches
- Strong work history
- Excellent customer service skills are essential
- Able to work independently and with others, including under supervision
- Experience with animals, retail, and agriculture is preferred
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen
