About the role

A day in the life involves assisting customers with a variety of transactions through a seamless and friendly experience, demonstrating expertise in all technologies used in the store environment, and inspiring trust and teamwork among peers.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with transactions and provide resolution in a timely manner
• Demonstrate expertise in store technologies (MS Windows, iOS, Android)
• Build positive team relationships and defuse customer situations
• Ensure security and privacy of customer information through education and compliance
• Motivate others to adopt initiatives like the Nordstrom Rewards program

Requirements

• Ability to build relationships with customers, peers, and leadership
• Proficiency in multiple operating systems (MS Windows, iOS, Android)
• Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Accountability, initiative, and high level of ownership
• Flexible schedule based on department needs

Physical Requirements

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
• Handling bulky or awkwardly shaped items, including lifting above the head
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds

Pay

$16.85 - $17.55 hourly, dependent on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
