About the role
Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services seeks an Sprayground Attendant to perform facility, program, and supervisory duties in accordance with Recreation Services Program Standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising sprayground (waterpark) visitors and onsite volunteers
- Assist in upkeep and maintenance of the sprayground, pavilion, and community center
- Assess needs and interests of customers
- Prioritize daily job duties and maintain a safe and clean environment at all times
- Provide necessary first aid; complete required paperwork
- Maintain accurate records of daily maintenance
- Demonstrate support for administrative decisions
- Attend all trainings and complete required certifications
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Possess, or obtain within 30 days of hire, First Aid and CPR certifications (training will be provided)
- Experience in youth supervision, customer service, or one year working with youth in a coaching or volunteer capacity (preferred, but not required)

- Minimum Qualifications: None specified beyond the requirement for First Aid and CPR certifications

Pay
Salary range: $15.00 - $19.00 hourly
Schedule
Thursday-Sunday, 4-7 hours/day during the summer; possible rental and food pantry distribution during school year as needed.
Additional Information
- Physical Demands: Requires the ability to stand, sit, stoop, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
