Seasonal/Special Events Childcare Associate, Cane Bay Campus

About the Role

Schedule

As needed for special events & the first Sunday of every month, 11:45am–1:45pm.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety and security of children in your care.
• Act as a positive role model, treating each child with dignity and respect.
• Engage children in classroom activities, including Bible story time, crafts, worship songs, free play, games, or other age-appropriate activities.
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment for kids, following all safety policies and procedures.
• Report concerns regarding child or parent behaviors to the Childcare Coordinator.
• Greet parents and build trust and rapport with children in your care.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize toys, chairs, tables, and floors after use.

Requirements

• Christ follower (as a religious organization, Seacoast Church aligns hiring decisions with our faith and beliefs).
• Previous experience working with children is preferred.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including some weekday, weeknight, weekend, and/or holiday shifts while maintaining good attendance and punctuality.
• Passion for caring for children and ability to relate well to both kids and adults.
• Must be able to lift, hold, and carry up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to appropriately handle stressful situations.

• Consent to national and local criminal background checks, state sexual offender searches, credit file, and motor vehicle checks when applicable.
