Sloomoo celebrates joy through an interactive experiential world, focused on slime, hands-on play, and all things #satisfying. Launched in October 2019 with an immersive 12,000 square-foot experience in Soho, NYC, Sloomoo offers hand-crafted, artisanal slime (dozens of textures and scents), soothing ASMR, and wondrous delights—guests can slingshot slime, walk on slime, design their own slime, and more. The brand now includes 5 Institutes (NYC, LA, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta) and two MiniMoos (Boston, Philadelphia), with more locations coming. MiniMoos are smaller but packed with color, surprise, and play. Sloomoo has been featured in People Magazine, Vogue, the Today Show, the Kelly Clarkson Show, the Tamron Hall Show, Forbes, and INC. About the Role

As a Slimetender at Sloomoo, you’re the face of the Sloomooverse—the primary point of interaction for guests. You’re an ambassador of the brand and a representation of its mission, playing a key role in delivering a joyful, fun, and safe experience. While slime is the star, you create the memories by showcasing slime tricks, engaging with guests, and adapting to their needs (some may seek calm moments, others may be full of excitement). This role involves greeting guests, managing guest flow, and ensuring the environment is clean and welcoming. You’ll uphold Sloomoo’s values:

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests, offering an overview of activities, safety guidelines, and events to ensure a seamless and unforgettable experience.
• Efficiently process admissions and manage reservations, monitoring room capacity and guest flow to ensure everyone has a great time.
• Oversee attractions, including slime-making workshops, interactive games, and photo ops, bringing energy, enthusiasm, and a personal touch to each interaction.
• Guide guests through their Sloomoo journey, explaining activities based on the area you’re overseeing.
• Maintain high operational standards, ensuring policies and procedures are followed to provide a safe, efficient, and fun environment.
• Scan and redeem tickets, facilitating smooth transitions for guests while keeping accurate counts for room capacity.
• Adhere to scripts and spiels for each station to deliver a consistent, high-quality guest experience aligned with brand standards.
• Conduct occasional maintenance and cleaning of props and attractions, reporting any issues to management promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness at all stations by picking up slime, cleaning vats, and ensuring glass surfaces (e.g., Slingshot area) are clean throughout shifts.
• Uphold Sloomoo’s brand integrity in all interactions, both within the experience space and externally.
• Prioritize safety, address and log damages or repair needs, and communicate guest feedback and concerns to management.
• Support team members to foster a collaborative, positive working environment where everyone can thrive.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality, tourism, or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality, with a flair for creating memorable guest experiences.
• Exceptional communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to engage with a diverse range of guests.
• A proactive problem-solver with a positive attitude, able to handle situations professionally.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, to bring joy to guests whenever needed.
• A team player who can also work independently, with a genuine passion for fun, creativity, and the Sloomoo brand.
