Seasonal Sanitation Part-Time

About the role

Join our sanitation team and help ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and food quality across our poultry processing operations. This is a fast-paced position where reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety are critical.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and work areas according to USDA, food safety, and company sanitation standards.
• Prepare, mix, and safely apply cleaning chemicals while following all PPE and safety requirements.
• Inspect equipment and areas after sanitation to ensure proper cleanliness and report any issues or hazards promptly.
• Maintain an organized, safe work environment by removing debris, rinsing surfaces, and ensuring proper storage of tools and chemicals.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete sanitation tasks efficiently and support a positive, safety-focused environment.
• Follow detailed sanitation procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and all safety, food safety, and biosecurity guidelines.
• Perform additional sanitation duties as needed to support production readiness and meet operational goals.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience: Poultry, food industry, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Skills: Ability to multitask and work quickly in a fast-paced environment, have good communication skills, ability to comprehend instructions and apply common sense, have strong attention to detail, and must be a team player.
• Physical requirements: Ability to work in a refrigerated environment with temperatures ranging from 10°F to 40°F, standing for extended periods of time, and able to lift 40 lbs.

Pay

• Base hourly salary rate of $17.50 with a $1.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.
