Seasonal Sanitation Operator

About the role

Since its founding in 1937, Krispy Kreme has focused on making fresh doughnuts using the founder’s original recipe, with the iconic Hot Light signaling fresh doughnuts. Our Sanitation Operators are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the inside of the store, the parking lot, and the area around the building, creating a welcoming environment for customers.

Responsibilities

• Sweep all required areas inside and outside of the store.
• Mop all required areas inside the store.
• Spray the parking lots and wash shop windows.
• Clean, sanitize, and stock bathrooms.
• Ensure the customer area is clean and all tables and chairs are sanitized.
• Keep supplies in the stockroom in an orderly fashion.

Requirements

• No previous experience necessary.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Commitment to nurturing an equitable, unbiased culture where team members can showcase their originality.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly; work in fluctuating temperatures and noise levels; exposure to allergens (including nuts) and production area noise.
