Seasonal Sales Associate - UGG

About the role

Our Sales Associates are critical to the success of our stores. As a Sales Associate, it’s your job to create the best possible customer experience. You listen to each customer and offer recommendations and current product knowledge in response to their needs. You also communicate the brand’s sustainability initiatives and social and ethical commitments while sharing your love and passion for our products. You operate as part of a dynamic team and cooperate to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

• Create personalized shopping experiences that drive brand loyalty
• Greet customers promptly and courteously as they enter the store
• Address all customer questions accurately before they leave
• Provide exceptional service from start to finish, including communicating our return policy
• Maintain a positive, cheerful attitude with customers and team members
• Promote the store and brand image in all interactions, including adhering to a dress code
• Provide exceptional customer service to in-store and phone customers
• Operate the cash register and handle money accurately
• Check inventory daily and ensure products are stocked and available
• Merchandise product in accordance with Visual Merchandising standards
• Maintain a clean and well-organized back-stock area and employee break area (vacuuming, sweeping, dusting)
• Practice safety-consciousness and respond to theft in accordance with policies
• Report to work on time and notify your Store Manager in advance if late or absent

Requirements

• Two (2) years of retail store experience preferred
• High School Diploma
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to convey the Deckers Brands Vision and Mission
• Highly motivated team player and self-starter
• Flexibility of schedule and hours to meet business needs
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Valid driver’s license

Pay

The salary posted reflects the target for new hire salaries for this role at this specific store location: $17.80 per hour. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
