About the role

The Seasonal Sales Associate supports the store team during peak sales days, focusing on sales, store maintenance, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and expressing gratitude.
• Support the shopping environment, including cleanliness and merchandising.
• Stock and restock merchandise, and assist in meeting sales and profit goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns, escalating issues as necessary.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience is preferred.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing personality with strong guest service skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and listen effectively.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the store for at least 8 hours per day.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb ladders, and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Reliability and trustworthiness.
