Seasonal Sales Associate (Store 5731)

About the role

The Seasonal Sales Associate supports the store team during peak sales days by providing outstanding customer service, participating in store operations, and adhering to GameStop policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and recommending additional items.
• Support the shopping environment by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and proper merchandising.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise, and transfer products from the stock room to the front of the store.
• Aid in achieving sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals by collaborating with the store team.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly, professionally, and courteously, escalating issues as necessary.
• Contribute to inventory control and loss prevention practices by being aware of scams and following safety best practices.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly and effectively.
• Outgoing personality with strong guest service skills.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb, lift up to 30 lbs., and work independently for at least 8 hours per day.
• Reliability and trustworthiness.
