Seasonal Sales Associate (Store 5548)

About the role

The Seasonal Sales Associate supports the store team during peak sales days by providing outstanding customer service, participating in store operations, and adhering to GameStop policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and promoting additional items.
• Safeguard the shopping environment by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and proper merchandising.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise, and collaborate with the store team to meet sales, profit, and shrinkage goals.
• Address guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues as necessary.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention by being aware of scams and following safety best practices.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, and ethical responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience is preferred.
• Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing personality with strong guest service skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and listen effectively, preferably bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the store for at least 8 hours per day.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb ladders, and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Reliability and trustworthiness.
