Seasonal Sales Associate (Store 5322)

About the role

The Seasonal Sales Associate supports the store team during peak sales days by providing excellent customer service, participating in store operations, and adhering to GameStop policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and promoting additional items.
• Support the shopping environment by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and proper merchandising.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise, and collaborate with the store team to meet sales, profit, and shrinkage goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly, and escalate issues to a store keyholder.
• Contribute to inventory control and loss prevention efforts, and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience is preferred.
• Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing personality with strong guest service skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and listen effectively in English; bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within a team, and meet performance expectations.
• Physical ability to stand, move, bend, stoop, reach, climb, lift up to 30 lbs., and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliability and trustworthiness.
